What is and where can I get an Ethereum Wallet? We don't have a recommendation, try google.
Why real cash? Because like Bitcoins/Litecoins, its 100% irreversible. There's No chargebacks, No stolen credit cards, No scams.
Can I cancel my order after I've sent payment? Yes, as long as we haven't already sent you the Bitcoins/Litecoins. Please contact us ASAP and we will return your payment to you, minus a return processing fee of $20 or 4% of the amount, whichever is GREATER.
Can I send a cheque? No.
Can I send a money order? No.
Can I pay with paypal? No.
Why can't I pay with <insert one of the above>? Because they are all susceptible to fraud.
Will you ever accept <insert one of the above>? Maybe, if we can find a way around the potential fraud, or if you convince us you're not a fraudster (aka repeat customers!).
Can I put a $0.85 stamp and send you the money using letter mail? Yes if you really want to, but at YOUR OWN RISK. If it gets lost in the mail, too bad, we can't do anything for you. If we say we didn't get it, we didn't get it, no arguing. We highly recommend against it. Use something that can be tracked!
I live in/near Ottawa, can I deliver the money in person? Sure. The address on the form can be accessed as per the dates/times listed on the contact us page. The 3 hour rate guarantee does not apply for payments left outside of business hours.
You sent me the wrong amount of BTC/LTC/ETH/$CAD! for my CASH order. We only guarantee the posted rate when you place your order for 24 hours for cash in mail, and 3 hours for cash in person. After that we reserve the right to adjust the amounts based on current market conditions.
You sent me the wrong amount of BTC/LTC/ETH/$CAD! for my online payment order. We do not guarantee any rate for some payment types, since we have no way of knowing how many days it will take the banks to credit our account the money. If you would like to avoid the price fluctuation risk, simply pre-load to your account first, then use the funds available in your balance to purchase which will guarantee/lock in the price at the time you create the order.
When I sell coins, how many confirmations are required before payment? We require only 1 confirmation for BTC, other amounts for other cryptos.
Cash/XpressPost Frequently Asked Questions
When I sell coins, and receive cash via xpresspost, is there any guarantees? We guarantee that the package will make it to Canada Post and be assigned a Tracking Number. Canada Post (supposedly) guarantees delivery of said package once its in their system, however, should a package be mis-delivered by CP and not tracked down, there is nothing we can do. We will not re-send payment for lost/stolen/mis-delivered packages once they leave our hands. By choosing this payment option, YOU assume all risks.
Why won't you re-send cash for lost/stolen/mis-delivered packages? Because we have already been scammed by people claiming they never received their package (and thus, us trying to be nice and re-sending it and eating the cost on our side), when CP clearly has indicated that it was delivered to the correct address, and support ticket investigations have lead to confirmation of delivery.
I'm not comfortable with this risk, what else can I do? You can do cash-pickup in our office if you prefer to stay with cash, or you can use an online payment method such as Direct Deposit to your bank account.
When I sell coins, and receive cash via xpresspost, can I leave off my name as to remain semi-anonymous? No, Canada Post requires a name on the package for xpresspost.
When I sell coins, and receive cash via xpresspost, can I get "Signature Required on Delivery"? Yes! We always send with signature required, unless you specify otherwise. If you would like signature left off, please add a comment to the mailing address when you create the order.
When I sell coins, and receive cash via xpresspost, is there any insurance on the value? No, Canada Post does not allow insuring cash.
